The whole process is soundless: a somewhat generic greeting automatically appears in a text box beside her.

*Hyun-ae, can you do me a favor? Can you pull up the database on the 270 dead at the Arena attack and tell me how many of the dead were suspected members of the Anoli? I fully understand if you can't, of course, although I don't doubt your ability to do so.

[There's some surprise inherent with a girl from a medieval-esque world summoning an AI, but if this is how she can get more information on the situation, then...]

Do you have access to the names or aliases used by the citizens who participated in the Grand Prix a few months ago? Preferably in the order they placed, if you can.

[A figure stood on a structure far above the city grounds. It watched over the world below itself with an equal measure of disdain and curiosity, the wind breezing through his hair and shawl, and the snowfall marking intricate patterns on his helmet.

How many days was he out like a light? A few it seemed. After collapsing unconscious half a week ago during his entry to Hinoto-Ri it took a while for the city to get his Reploid body — a synthesis of robot parts and human appearance — repaired and he was still feeling it. They were kind enough to give him his things back despite being difficult to find, and saw fit to issue him even more generosities in the form of an arrival kit and a small apartment in the Pisces Ward.

Their only request? To help them fight off the unwanted guests of the 13th Hour. Sounds familiar, doesn't it? Even so, while he felt he had to at least try and return the favor, he wasn't willing to work without a clue either.

Conveniently, he was told by the issuer to use a special button on his COMP equipment if he needed any information. Now was a good time as any, and so he pushed it. The glass visor extended from the sides of his helmet with a sheen, and he greeted the AI who would appear before him with a marked lack of greeting.]

I was told to contact you if I needed something.

[Problem is, Zero didn't know where to start, and hesitation followed. He was like a fish out of water, away from his world, away from Neo Arcadia's reach, away from the Resistance and Ciel.]

[There's a moment of hesitation before he hits the button. He couldn't trust AIs completely - She had been an AI... but then again so was Macha, who saved his life. And besides, it's just information he wants. He doesn't have to do anything with it if he thinks it's bad advice.]

Hello, Hyun-ae. Do you have any information on the appropriate dress for a formal job interview? The culture of Hinoto-Ri is very different from that of Metafalss; while I am overqualified for the position in question, I feel that the clothes I own and the costumes I have downloaded would lend me no credibility in this world.

*He's actually taken off the glasses' inactive little forms from behind his ears, and closed them up in his coinpurse. Again. But he's poked at every option and menu he can think of on the watch, and hasn't been able to figure out the answer to this on his own... and so, he tries the option he hasn't yet. He probably just didn't want to bother anyone until he gave up trying to figure it out for himself.*

*So, eyes on the watch's holodisplay, he presses that little contact button... with the glasses still sitting in his little pouch, tucked into his sash. Have fun with that?*

Hello, *Hyun-ae. I have some basic questions about the network. I'm sure I missed reading a manual somewhere, but I'd just like a few things cleared up. 1) Who administers the Visitor network? 2) is it distinct from the general city network? 3) if so, who administers the general network? 4) is there a way to store information recorded via COMP offline for archival purposes? 5) what type of security is used to protect "private" or "filtered" data, or "anonymous" entries? Thank you for your time.

Hello, dear. Let's not waste too much time, shall we? Please give me whatever information you have on these buildings - I don't have names for most of them, unfortunately, so I've had to make do with pictures and drawings. Tell me if it's not enough.

[ aaaand he has drawings and pictures of the various buildings displayed here - he's gotten as many pictures of the buildings he could recognize, and the rest are detailed copies of the original images. he doesn't have a copy of the 104 building because he knows a heck of a lot about that one already. ]

[Deadpan thumbs up before she starts fiddling with the COMP to try and end this before it goes on too long.]

Today, Desco is bored, so she's decided to mess around with the COMP. In the process of wrapping the glasses around her left thigh, she manages to accidentally hit the button contacting *Hyun-ae - who, frankly, she has no idea exists.

When the feed snaps on, there's a single slit-pupiled golden eye staring through the lenses of the COMP.
